AB: A face free from all knots and defects, except a few sound knots max diam 5mm. Even colour and well matched on A face.

B face few sound knots up to 20mm, more colour variation allowed, sapwood no more than 20%.

BC: B face- few sound knots up to 20mm, more colour variation allowed, sapwood no more than 5%. 

C face - sound knots up to 30mm, sapwood not limited.
